Welcome!
Brielle Acupuncture Center is a Traditional
Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine center that blends
the ancient art of Chinese Medicine with modern medical
science. With the goal of helping people reach and maintain
optimum health, we offer acupuncture, herbal medicine,
massage therapy and counseling on nutrition and exercise.
Each of these modalities are holistic in that they take into
consideration all aspects of a person’s physical, mental and
emotional well-being, both in diagnosis and treatment.
Using the framework of Oriental Medicine, we assess an
individual’s health patterns and develop a treatment
strategy that both alleviates symptoms and addresses their
origin. Health can flourish when balance and harmony of the
body, mind and spirit is restored.

 Brielle
Acupuncture Center was founded by Rachel Runge,
CA, CMT, CPT; also the creator of
Acu
Mama, On the Move
and
Fit Mama, On the Move--effective
home-based programs for women undergoing infertility
treatments and for pre/postnatal care. Rachel’s life focus
has been to lead a natural, healthy lifestyle and support
others in doing the same. She is a Certified Acupuncturist
and Massage Therapist in the State of New Jersey and holds a
National Certification in Oriental Medicine through the
National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and
Oriental Medicine. |

Rachel’s early education in
healthcare began with a Bachelor of Science in Sports
Medicine from Elon University. She had always been
passionate about helping people achieve their fitness goals,
but soon realized that true health encompassed more than
just diet and exercise. She took her expertise to the next
level though obtaining a Master of Science degree in
Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College and
advanced study of Oriental Medicine in Beijing, China.
Throughout her career, Rachel
has personally trained with Elaine Stillerman, creator of
Mother Massage, in prenatal, delivery and postpartum
massage therapy. She has trained under world-renowned
acupuncturist and mid-wife, Debra Betts in acupuncture for
labor and delivery; with Julie Tupler, author and creator of
Maternal Fitness and Lose your Mummy Tummy;
and Virginia Doran, creator of Facial Rejuvenation
Acupuncture. Rachel combines all of her extensive
training and over 13 years of experience in creating her
tailored treatments and programs for Brielle Acupuncture
Center. Rachel and the entire staff look forward to
providing you with the highest level of safe and effective
patient care.
