Brielle Acupuncture Center is an acupuncture practice that specializes in women's health, fertility and pregnancy.
This practice was founded by Rachel Taillacq, RN, LAc. Rachel's life focus has been to lead a natural, healthy lifestyle and support others in doing the same. She is a Registered Nurse and Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in the State of New Jersey. She holds a National Certification in Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Rachel's early education in healthcare began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from Elon University. She had always been passionate about helping people achieve their fitness goals but soon realized that true health encompassed more than just diet and exercise. She took her expertise to the next level by obtaining her Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College and continued her education with advanced study of Oriental Medicine in Beijing, China. After working in private practice for over 8 years and specializing in pain management, women's health, infertility and pregnancy, Rachel was accepted into the Rutgers Accelerated Nursing program, where she graduated at the top of her class and obtained another Bachelor of Science degree.
Upon graduation from the Rutgers Accelerated Nursing Program, Rachel worked as an infertility RN and Acupuncturist at one of the most respected practices in New Jersey. Along with coordinating IUI and IVF cycles, she was responsible for managing the Donor Egg, PGD and Acupuncture programs. In terms of continuing education, Rachel has trained with acupuncturist and mid-wife, Debra Betts in acupuncture for pregnancy and labor/delivery. She has trained with Dr. Randine Lewis, author of The Infertility Cure and creator of The Fertile Soul in using acupuncture and herbal medicine to treat causes of infertility and enhance effectiveness of ART procedures. She has trained with Elaine Stillerman, creator of Mother Massage, in prenatal, labor/delivery and postpartum massage therapy. To enhance her skills in prenatal fitness, she worked with Julie Tupler, author and creator of Maternal Fitness.
Rachel has over 18 years of experience successfully treating a myriad of health conditions. She combines her unique and extensive training in both Eastern and Western medicine to create safe and effective treatment plans for all of her patients.
